your perfect Christmas gift guide // mom, aunts & mom-in-law

I asked, and you responded.

next to brothers, dad, husbands, and men in general (let’s be honest!), it was determined that in-laws are the toughest to shop for!! while this gift guide just covers your mother-in-law, have no fear that there will be many more posts to come that will be totally applicable in helping you shop for your sisters, brothers, and fathers in law, too!!

ladies gift guide

sometimes it’s a bit tricky to know what to grab for those ladies in your life who mean the whole world to you, but are just interested in different things, have different views and opinions based on that age gap, or who don’t always give you a lot to work with when it comes to a Christmas wish-list.

each of the gift ideas I’ve combined below are inexpensive enough to keep the budget in check, while still showing your favorite ladies how much you care ❤

the key to shopping for your mom, aunts, and mom-in-law is to keep things trendy, fresh, and fun, but still timeless, elegant, and classy

so get out your Christmas gift idea notebook (am I the only one who has one of these…) and start taking notes!! 😉

let’s get started, shall we?! 😀

1.) chalkboard coasters, like these Kate Aspen brand from bed, bath & beyond, are totally chic and would make the most fun addition to the living room of any experienced (or aspiring!) entertainer! and at an astonishing $3.99, I’m pretty sure you can’t afford NOT to add these to her gift!

2.) the classic red plaid scarf is a must-have for any woman’s winter wardrobe, and this “campus chill” style from mod cloth is just too darn cute to say no to!! plus, right now it’s on SALE! 😉

3.) this ultra-classy light grey watch with delicate, pretty aztec detailing on the face is one that suits any gal, from sixteen to sixty! seriously, how timeless (ha!) is it?! Charming Charlie does it again, with this fab style for what’s basically pocket change. everyone from your cousin to your grandma will be jealous!

4.) tasty tea in feminine packaging? yes, please! with bunches of flavors & brews to choose from, all wrapped up sweetly in fresh floral, bright hues & other pretty tins, you’ll be keeping your fave ladies cozy all winter! and they’ll think of you every time they brew a cup of this emporio tea. bonus: it’s fair trade & organic, so you’re helping to support some awesome people doing awesome things, while knowing exactly what you’re putting into your body! cool, right?

5.) a framed print of an encouraging reminder is just the thing for the lady who loves to express herself! golden dots and a swirly script keep this joyful quote girlish & classy at the same time. handmade at this etsy shop, this sweet print would hang beautifully in an office, family room, or entry way.

6.) alex & ani bracelets have exploded in the fashion world this past year, especially. keep your most-loved ladies on-trend and full of warm fuzzies with a charm bracelet that displays who they are to you! they’re available in both gold & silver, so any woman will find it matches her style! PS: she’ll love the compliments!!

7.) hello gorgeous mug! now your mom or aunt will know how beautiful you think she is every morning… because this mug will remind her, even when you’re not there in person to tell her! (awww…) ❤ the bright teal ceramic & gold hand-written font is sure to make her smile, and the hand-made charm is always a winner.

8.) cozy moccasin slippers are the perfect gift for the gal who needs some pampering. sure, they might be a bit of a splurge, but the look on her face when she sees the pretty suede exterior and stitching details, and snuggles her toes into the thick, fuzzy lining will be all the compensation you need. 😉 find them from J Crew here, and right now, enjoy 25% off with the code GETSHOPPING.

did this help kick-start your brain’s gift-giving inspiration? 🙂
then share the love on facebook & pinterest! ❤
happy shopping!
